As a company, and as individuals, we work to make our expertise available to do the most good for those around us.Job ResponsibilitiesAssign job duties of department associates for assigned shiftEnsure needs of downstream processes are metPull parts from warehouse to fill assembly kits and replenish point of use materials.Complete system required inventory transactionsEnsure new kits are issued to Fabrication and Assembly in a timely mannerVerify counts of products coming from Fabrication and outside suppliers, perform inventory transactions, close shop orders and put materials awayIssue rework orders and complete scrap transactions as appropriateMaintain inventory accuracy through the use of regular cycle countingMaintain organization of material storage locationsSupport the on-going reporting of key performance metricsCo-Lead and participate in the annual physical inventoryParticipate in improvement projects to continuously raise performance within the function.QualificationsSome college course work completed, and 5-6 years of experience in a warehouse environment is required. Equivalency to the qualification standard will also be considered.Previous lead experience is preferred.High level of understanding of inventory management/controls and cycle count practicesFamiliarity with MRP systems and performing inventory transactionsStrong attention to detailAbility to work without direct supervision for majority of shiftExcellent computer skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task efforts across different priorities.Working ConditionsWorking Environment: Production floorPhysical Demands: Lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending and walking for long periods of time.Travel Requirements: As needed, less than 5% of the time.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
