Details Work setting is a community hospital emergency department with a combined ED/Med-Surg unit Nurses are expected to carry a patient load on both the floor and in the ED Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week Contract length is negotiable, ranging from 8 to 13 weeks Blocked scheduling (grouped shifts) will be accommodated when possible Requirements Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS and ACLS PALS certification preferred Experience in both emergency department and med-surg settings is required Minimum of one year of RN experience required Two professional references required for consideration PDF copies of a valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Additional Information Nurses must be clinically comfortable managing both ER and medical-surgical patients within the same shift First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-685373.
