Brief DescriptionNextant is looking for a driven Program Manager Non-Tech 1 to join our client team. You’ll be a vital, trusted member of this tight-knit team, an exemplar of cultural alignment and the highest professional standards. You will manage confidential information without exception. Because of our business shifts throughout the year, you will need to be comfortable with a changing environment, providing grounding for the team. You will also need to be a strategic thinker, helping us stay prepared for our future needs.Job Responsibilities:Includes group admin support, opening POs for Hardware, Software, Software as a service, fielding requests from different research teams and executing on a variety of different requests that come through the Business Operations team. Onboarding of new hires by securing and procuring equipment, office setup, welcome emails, asset tracking & equipment loans, setting up catering, updating Business Operational report, PO tracking, closing out milestones on PO’s as well as invoice maintenance and month end accruals. Offboarding of team members leaving the team is also a key responsibility that requires the collection of all Microsoft assets from team members that are leaving the team and storing it in a secure environment so the equipment can be redistributed to new teammates that join the MSR team. Inventory Asset Management is another responsibility within the Business Operations Team and each member contributes to the ordering, procuring, and distribution of assets. Event and group activity planning and support is another area of responsibility. This can involve a variety of tasks, like ordering food, space reservations, setup, clean-up, etc. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent experience. PMI or PMP certification preferred. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with Microsoft 365Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with a high level of attention to detailMinimum 2-3 years’ experience with project managementVerbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc. The ideal resume would contain previous Microsoft experience is always a plus.
