Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: - Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week based on candidate request - Weekend requirements: Every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) unless approved by leadership - Holiday requirements: Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) - Patient ratios: Typical 4-6:1 - Float requirements: As needed/customary float required upon request - Patient population: 50% medical/50% telemetry adults only - Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS - 2 years of telemetry experience required - Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved) - Equipment: Standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit - EMR system: EPIC - Dress code: Black scrubs required - Contract duration: 13-26 weeks - Time off: Up to 5 days per 13-week period can be automatically approved - Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments - Function within scope of nursing practice and established guidelines Facility: This healthcare facility has been providing compassionate medical and specialty care in the region for over 150 years.
