ApplyDescriptionPOSITION OBJECTIVE:To inspect, package and palletize products to Truvant and customer specifications.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesComplete all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and productsUnderstand palletization of each productIdentify defects in packages/pouchesMonitor weights and case countsAssemble cases either manually or automatically using case making machineOperate a pallet jackOther duties as assignedRequirementsEDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:One year of hands-on experience in manufacturing preferred but not requiredOn the job training providedSkills, Knowledge & AbilitiesKnowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and proceduresAbility to pay close attention to detailSkill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the jobAbility to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departmentsAbility to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidentialAbility to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defensePhysical And Environmental RequirementsMust be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communicationMust be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workersMust be able to reach, touch, graspMust be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and pushMust be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floorMust be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
