Production OperatorJoin Amcor as a Production Operator and help produce packaging that protects essential products worldwide. You'll operate extrusion laminators, presses, and slitters to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while minimizing cost, energy, and waste. This is a team-based role where your contributions directly impact our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.Schedule12 hour weekend shifts, work Friday, Saturday and SundayDay shift 6:30a-6:30p ORNight shift 6:30p-6:30aCompensation & BenefitsStarting pay: $29.12/hour, increasing to $34.18/hour after probationary periodOvertime: 1.5 pay for hours over 40/week401(k): Dollar-for-dollar company match up to 8%Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting Day 1Paid time off and holidaysCareer growth opportunities with a global leaderWhat You'll DoOperate assigned production equipment (extrusion laminator, flexographic/rotogravure press, slitter/rewinder, or doctor winder) according to specifications and SOPsSupport Environmental Health & Safety initiatives and maintain a safe work environmentMonitor and maintain product quality, remove defects, and perform QA checksComplete required production, SOC, QA, and cleaning reports accuratelyMeet production targets while minimizing downtime, changeovers, and clean-upsTroubleshoot equipment or process issues and take corrective actionsOperate a forklift safely and handle materials efficientlyParticipate in WCOM, 5S, and GFSI initiatives to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workplacePerform assistant-level duties as needed and maintain housekeeping standardsPerform additional duties as assigned by managementWhat We're Looking ForManufacturing experience preferredStrong computer, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to read/follow instructions, perform basic math, and convert measurementsTeam-oriented with willingness to train and collaborateMechanical aptitude is a plusPhysical RequirementsLift up to 55 lbs and push/pull 2055 lbsContinuous standing and walkingExposure to noise above 85 dB and solvent odors/heat from productionFrequent use of hands and arms; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perceptionReasonable accommodations considered case-by-caseWhy Choose AmcorBe part of a global leader that values safety, integrity, collaboration, accountability, results, and outperformance.
