We are searching for a passionate and skilled Product Owner to join our vibrant team and drive the evolution of our hardware products. Position Overview As the Product Owner for Hardware Products at Wavelynx, you will steer the development and lifecycle management of our access control controllers and reader devices. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, design, and product management teams to ensure our products meet market demands, align with strategic goals, and deliver outstanding value to our customers. Note: Only U.S. candidates authorized to work without company sponsorship will be considered. This role is based onsite in Broomfield, CO, with the flexibility of one remote workday per week. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Engage with stakeholders—customers, sales, marketing, and technical teams—to gather and define product requirements. Prioritize features, enhancements, and backlog items based on business value, customer impact, and feasibility. Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams. Product Development & Lifecycle Management: Lead the product development journey from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure technical feasibility and an exceptional user experience. Track product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvements and future iterations. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure products adhere to industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory compliance. Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to maintain product reliability and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably with hardware products or access control systems. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing hardware products. Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA is required. Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of hardware development processes, including embedded systems, electronics, and firmware. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and data-driven decision-making ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across teams and with customers. Familiarity with Agile practices and experience thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
