This position will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining hardware systems critical to the program and ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.This position will work closely with other engineers and program leadership to support the overall goals and objectives of the program. You will also have the opportunity to grow and sharpen your skills with other talented members of Centil.Please note: this role is required to be onsite in Boulder.What You'll DoDesign, configure, install, and maintain networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) in support of DoD mission requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues across LAN, WAN, and classified network environmentsCollaborate with cross functional engineering teams on integration, testing, and deploymentDevelop and maintain network architecture documentation, diagrams, and standard operating proceduresSupport security accreditation activities (RMF/STIG compliance) as they relate to network hardwareEvaluate and recommend hardware upgrades, replacements, and capacity planningProvide technical input to program planning, milestone reviews, and deliverablesRequired QualificationsUS Citizen with a current DoD Secret clearance or higher (current Top Secret, with SCI eligibility, is strongly preferred)Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field5–10 years of experience in network hardware engineering, with at least 3 years in a DoD or government contracting environmentHands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise/defense networking platformsFamiliarity with STIGs, RMF, and DoD network security requirementsPreferred/Bonus QualificationsCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Security+Other Company RequirementsIn addition to job-specific requirements, Centil believes it is important for all employees to possess the following skills/characteristics:Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. All applicants must be US citizens eligible for a US Government security clearanceExpected Salary RangeDepending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $110,000 and $170,000 per year.Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only.
