The Senior Annuity Claim Examiner is responsible for managing annuity death claims from first notice through final payment while ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.Senior Annuity Claim Examiner ResponsibilitiesProcess annuity death claims from initial notification through final payment, including beneficiary validation, documentation review, adjudication, and payment authorizationEnsure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements, including time-sensitive claim and payment standardsDocument claim decisions, pending reasons, and detailed comments to support downstream processing, reporting, and audit readinessManage assigned workloads in Salesforce-based claims platforms and related systems, prioritizing tasks to meet service-level and regulatory commitmentsReview and resolve reopens, referrals, and NIGO items in accordance with adjudication and quality proceduresCollaborate with Contact Center partners, Operations leadership, Technology teams, and external vendorsMeet evolving productivity, quality, and timeliness goals as systems and processes improveSupport continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and adopting new tools and workflowsUse AI tools, including Copilot, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-makingDemonstrate adaptability during system migrations, process redesigns, and changing claim volumesSenior Annuity Claim Examiner Overtime RequirementMandatory overtime is required during peak volume periods, system conversions, and other business-driven surgesThe Annuity Death Claims Specialist must be willing and able to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet operational and regulatory commitmentsAnnuity Death Claims Specialist QualificationsRequired QualificationsExperience in claims processing, annuity operations, life insurance, retirement services, or financial services operationsStrong attention to detail and sound decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentStrong written communication and documentation skillsDemonstrated adaptability and resilience during changeSenior Annuity Claim Examiner Preferred QualificationsExperience with Salesforce-based platforms or CRM/claims systemsKnowledge of annuity or financial services regulatory and compliance requirementsExperience working with productivity metrics, quality standards, and performance scorecardsComfort using AI-enabled tools, including Copilot or automation solutionsWe look forward to reviewing your application!Senior Annuity Claim ExaminerContract to hireRemote Position$30/hr W2 no benefitsJoin a company committed to delivering accurate, compassionate, and compliant financial services support during sensitive life events.
