processing, distributed orchestration, platform reliability, model serving, and cloud infrastructure while partnering closely with ML engineers and product teams to scale one of the industry's most backend platform services using Python while supporting distributed production systemsDesign scalable task orchestration, messaging, caching, and data processing infrastructureImprove platform practices across platform architectureIdeal Candidate BackgroundExperience Requirements5+ years of software engineering experienceExperience building platform infrastructure or distributed backend systemsExperience working at high-growth startups or high-performing technology companiesExperience owning production infrastructure serving customer-facing applicationsExperience designing highly scalable distributed production systemsExperience building mature infrastructure supporting rapidly growing businessesExperience operating production systems with significant uptime and reliability requirementsStrong startup ownership with demonstrated technical leadershipExperience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives preferredTechnical RequirementsStrong backend engineering experience with Python (Go or Rust experience also valued)Experience building distributed systems handling high-throughput workloadsExperience designing cloud-native infrastructure and production
