RequirementsWork onsite under limited supervision to prepare mechanical designs and drawings utilizing NX1980 and TeamcenterCorrectly apply the ASME Y14.5-M-1994 (or higher) GD&T standard across all design workSupport projects within Client-TD, including:PIP-IILCLS-IILCLS-II HEAccelerator SupportLHC AUPSRFSC MagnetsFollow established Design/Drafting procedures while working to meet project schedules and requirementsWork directly with engineering staff to:Research and analyze design solutionsCoordinate design developmentSpecify and select design components and materialsDeliverablesDesign tolerance and stack-up calculationsLayout designs and detailingAdvanced level 3D models2D drawings required for the projectDeliverable Format & QuantityAll 3D models and 2D drawings to be completed in NX1980All work to be managed and maintained in TeamcenterQuantity of deliverables will be directed by Fermilab on a per-task basisQuality AssuranceAll work shall be performed in accordance with the Fermilab QAM and Client-TD Design/Drafting ProceduresAll work will be reviewed, checked, and approved by the Fermilab staff responsible for each specific taskPre-RequirementsDemonstrate acceptable proficiency in NX1980 CAD via a proficiency interview conducted through the Zoom meeting portalMinimum of 5 years of experience as a DesignerDemonstrated ability to deliver quality work products under deadline-driven project conditions
