Backend AI Architect

We are looking for a Backend AI Architect to design and lead the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems that power AI-driven applications. This role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and integrating machine learning models into production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect scalable backend systems for AI/ML-powered applicationsBuild and optimize APIs and microservices to support AI workflowsIntegrate machine learning models into production systems (batch & real-time)Define data pipelines for training, inference, and analyticsEnsure system performance, reliability, and security at scaleCollaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and frontend teamsLead architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical strategyImplement best practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and observabilityRequired Qualifications8+ years of backend engineering experienceStrong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.jsExperience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar)Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architectureHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)Strong understanding of distributed systems and system designPreferred QualificationsExperience deploying ML models at scale (MLOps)Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)Experience with LLMs and generative AI systemsFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architecturesBackground in building real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
