Quality Engineer
_*Job Description*_
* This individual will take the lead on assigned programs and be responsible to driving quality concerns down internally and at customer sites over all processes.
* Will sign off on products at the customer site after customer exams.
* Will be responsible for analyzing engineering data, designing experiments (DOE), performing SPC evaluations, analyzing problems related to GD&T.
* Will make recommendations for tooling improvements, testing improvements, customer quality improvements.
_*Additional Skills & Qualifications*_
* Degree preferred
* 7 years experience with aerospace engineering / manufacturing
* Strong experience with quality metrics (SPC, DOE, engineering data)
* GD&T knowledge
* Well rounded experience - machining, heat treat, test, NDT
_*Work Environment*_
* "Flight critical" "self release" "customer delegation"
* This is a low volume but fast paced environment - deadline intensive.
* The team is engineering heavy.
* Candidates expected to be very reliable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
