Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract role for licensed School Psychologists is available in Waterbury, CT, serving elementary-age students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This opportunity offers work in multiple settings, including schools with specialized autism programs, resource room services, and self-contained classrooms. The position starts on January 16, 2026, and concludes on June 17, 2026, with a typical schedule of 32.5 hours per week across five days.Key Responsibilities:Provide psychological services to a caseload of approximately 50 students.Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans, and support students with diverse learning needs.Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social-emotional development.Work within schools serving Pre-K through 8th-grade populations, including those with large multilingual learner groups and specialized autism programming.Qualifications:Valid Connecticut School Psychologist License.Masters Degree or higher in Educational Psychology.Experience or willingness to work with varied student populations, including resource and self-contained classrooms.Locations & Caseload Details:First role: Pre-K to 6th-grade school with an autism program.Second role: Two buildings serving K-6th grades with resource and self-contained classroom services.Third role: K-8 building, second psychologist position, serving Pre-K to 8th grade with multilingual learners, resource rooms, and autism support.Benefits:Highly competitive compensation.Weekly pay.Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life.Matching 401(k) plan.Flexible spending account options.Candidates with the required license and educational background are encouraged to apply to support diverse student populations in these dynamic educational settings.
