Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel ASAP start needed Simplifi Interviews Hospital Information: Address: Bangor, ME Level II Trauma Center Beds: 411 General Information: Beds: 26 ICU; include some negative pressure rooms Experience? 2 years minimum in ICU First-time traveler? Yes Patient Types: Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Interventional patients ICP monitoring, External Ventricular drain (EVD), spinal precautions, DKA, Multi system trauma patients, Sepsis, ARDS, COVID, PNA, COPD, Stroke Patient Ratios: 1:2 – based on acuity (may get 3rd patient as one is being discharged or moved to the floor) Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS PALS (preferred) – traveler may float to PICU if experienced and has PALS currently Skills required: Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity Neuro and Trauma experience are an absolute must – EVD & ICP monitoring Ventilator management, critical care drips, drain management, stroke experience, hemodynamic lines (A-lines/CVP), cardiac rhythm recognition, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, strong assessment skills PICU experience (preferred but not required) – could float to this unit if experienced and there is a need – please let CRT know in offer email if traveler does have this experience Floating: To the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) – will take patients within scope Cardiac Stepdown or Medical Stepdown PICU if they have Peds experience Other notes: Scrub Color: Any solid color, must be professional Parking: Free parking in designated areas About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
