Third-Party Coordinator II

As a Third-Party Coordinator II, you will play a critical role in supporting this mission by managing utility and third-party coordination efforts that help deliver complex infrastructure projects efficiently and responsibly. This position offers the opportunity to lead coordination efforts, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings with utilities/third-parties, owners, and stakeholders
Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and track action items
Coordinate utility coordination efforts on behalf of Federal, State, and Local agencies or utility infrastructure owners
Follow Federal, State and Local codes, administrative rules, ordinances, regulations and requirements
Prepare various project letters, agreements, and documentation
Prepare and maintain contact lists
Provide document control
Prioritize and track tasks to meet various project requests and deadlines
Support Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) tasks, which could include conducting utility mapping research, obtaining encroachment permits, calling in and renewing Blue Stakes dig tickets, and tracking field work
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional
Minimum 2 years of experience in the transportation engineering, construction, or related industry
Understanding of UDOT processes and contracts is preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is preferred
