Join us and take your place in space.The Systems Engineering Division (SED)offers unparalleledexpertisein systems engineering to the U.S. government and various public and private agencies, universities, nonprofit organizations, consortia, and commercial companies involved in the advanced development and application of space systems. From systems CONOPs and architecture development to system design and analysis, mission assurance, cost and schedule assessment, and economic market analysis, SEDleveragesa vast array of engineering andbusiness disciplines across a dynamic portfolio of space programs and national challenges spanning the total space system lifecycle.The Aerospace Mission Assurance Strategy Office (MASO) leads Aerospace in developing mission assurance for the range of space systems and applications, which include rapid acquisitions,new technologies, and new acquisition constructs. The office focuses on enterprise-wide mission assurance approaches, Mission Assurance as a Service (MAaaS), and process improvements for mission assurance. The Project Engineer (Project Engineer - Enterprise Systems Engineering) will be responsible for:supporting theadvancement ofmission assurance practices, working across the corporation and the enterprise to cultivate collaboration and integration, managing and disseminating corporate wisdom, andhelping to bringa broad technical perspective to hard enterprise systems engineering problems.This full-time position requires 100% onsite work in El Segundo, CA, or Chantilly, VA.WhatYou'llBe Doing

MinimumRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in math, science, or engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent relevant experience7years of relevant professional engineering / scientific experience including program office and systems engineering of space systems or similar systemsExperience in systems engineering, program management, and / or the ability to integrate multiple technical viewpoints into cohesive systems viewExcellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences and ability to summarize complex information for executive level communicationAbility to work effectively with Aerospace peers, internal and external customers, senior staff, and in a team settingOccasional travelrequiredThis position requires a current and active TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship isrequiredto obtain a security clearance.How You Can Stand Out

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.(Min - Max)
$117,300.00 - $175,900.00Pay Basis: Annual
