Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Montana Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 60-day assignment in Montana, beginning May 18, 2026. This position offers a 7on/7off schedule, with 12-hour weekday shifts and 10-hour weekend shifts, focusing on adult inpatient acute admissions. The role involves managing 12-20 patients daily, addressing acute conditions including civil commitments, general psychiatric needs, chronic illnesses, and refractory schizophrenia. Responsibilities and Duties Manage an adult inpatient acute admissions unit. Provide care for 12-20 patients per day. Treat acute patients with civil commitments. Address general psychiatric conditions, chronic illnesses, and refractory schizophrenia. Adhere to a 7on/7off schedule. Complete 12-hour day shifts Monday through Friday. Complete 10-hour day shifts Saturday and Sunday.
