The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber , along with strong exposure to telecom billing and provisioning systems.The candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, experience coordinating onsite/offshore QA teams, and the ability to work independently in Agile testing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using:Selenium WebDriverJavaTestNGCucumberPlaywright (preferred)Create and execute automated test scripts for Telecom OSS/BSS and CSG Billing applications.Lead automation testing activities and support framework enhancements based on project needs.Build reusable automation components and improve test coverage across enterprise applications.Identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in software applications.Collaborate closely with:DevelopersProduct ManagersBusiness AnalystsQA TeamsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and defect triage calls.Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.Perform:Functional testingUI testingAPI testingSQL validationExecute and validate backend database testing using SQL queries.Validate REST APIs using Postman and related API testing tools.Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues using monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk.Work independently and provide regular status updates during scrum and stakeholder calls.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 8 10+ years of experience in QA Automation and Telecom domain testing.Strong hands-on experience with:Selenium WebDriverJavaTestNGCucumberPlaywrightStrong Telecom domain expertise in:OSS/BSSCSG BillingTelecom provisioning systemsExperience creating and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.Strong experience with:Functional testingSQL testingAPI testingDefect managementExperience using:JiraOctaneSplunkPostmanStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Playwright automation framework.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration.Experience with large-scale telecom billing transformations.Knowledge of test reporting and observability frameworks.Experience mentoring QA teams and leading automation initiatives.
