Data Engineer – Billing & Revenue Systems

Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a development team delivering and maintaining critical data pipelines and billing system updatesDesign, develop, and optimize SQL-based solutions using SnowflakeSupport integration and enhancement of enterprise billing platforms such as CSG and/or ICOMSAnalyze business and technical requirements to implement scalable data and billing solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues within billing data flows and system integrationsCollaborate with business analysts, QA, and other developers to ensure data accuracy and system reliabilityParticipate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processesRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience working on teams supporting critical data delivery and billing systemsStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL (query development, optimization, data modeling)Solid technical working knowledge of software development principles and data systemsExperience with CSG and/or ICOMS billing systemsStrong problem-solving and debugging skills in data-intensive environmentsAbility to work in a collaborative, agile team environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflowsFamiliarity with cloud data platforms and modern data architectureExperience in telecommunications, utilities, or subscription-based billing environmentsKnowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)Soft SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting mindsetGood communication skills for cross-functional collaborationAbility to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
