Computer Technician II

We're looking for a motivated IT professional who’s ready to grow, eager to learn, and excited to support a wide range of clients and technologies. *Responsibilities:* * Install, configure, and maintain hardware, systems, and network devices. * Support and troubleshoot *workstations, peripherals (monitors, printers, scanners)*, and basic networking issues. * Manage system backups, user accounts, and network security. * Administer *basic Microsoft 365 tasks* (user setup, license management, account modifications). * Use ticketing systems, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools, and documentation software to resolve client issues efficiently. * Monitor system performance and implement improvements. * Install and configure network printers and devices. * Perform basic firewall management (preferably SonicWall or similar). * Collaborate professionally with clients and internal team members on support issues and education. * Stay current with new IT technologies and help implement strategies for client success. *Requirements:* * Proficiency in Windows desktop operating systems and networking essentials. * *Basic Windows Server knowledge is a plus.* * Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills. * Excellent customer service and communication abilities. * Ability to work professionally with other team members. * *Desire to learn and grow* in a fast-paced IT environment. * Basic understanding of SonicWall firewalls (or comparable experience). * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common IT management tools (ticketing systems, RMM, PSA, documentation software). * *Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required* for *regular client site visits*. * *Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl under desks, and perform physical setup work as needed.* * *Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.* * Ability to adapt to changing client needs and prioritize tasks accordingly. *Work Environment:* * Standard work hours are *Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm*. * *Flexibility is required* to accommodate client needs, including some after-hours or weekend support. * Client site visits are a regular part of the role, supporting a wide range of businesses and industries. *Career Growth:* * Dynamic Computer Consulting encourages professional development.
