SUMMARY: The Park Service Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the park. This role focuses on cleanliness, sanitation, and guest service by enduring public areas, restrooms, attractions, and employee spaces meet company and health standards. Park Service Associate plays a critical role in guest satisfaction, safety, and overall park presentation through attention to detail, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving. Park Service Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and operational policies while working efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude when interacting with guests and team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all public areas, including restrooms, walkways, attractions, dining areas, pool decks, and queue lines.Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks using approved chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelines.Vacuum pools and water feature as assigned to remove debris and maintain water clarityPerform pressure washing of walkways, pool decks, service areas, and other designated surfaces while following safety protocols.Monitor park conditions and promptly address spills, debris, algae buildup, or sanitation concerns to ensure guest safety.Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the park and replace liners as needed.Stock restrooms and park facilities with paper products, soap, and other essential supplies.Safely handle, store, and transport cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors in a timely manner.Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and cleanliness-related concerns.Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing park areas for operation and completing end-of-day cleaning.Work collaboratively with supervisors and other departments to support overall park operations.Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.Complete assigned cleaning logs, checklists, and documentation accurately and on time.All other duties assigned by management.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Level 3High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Level 3Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Level 1Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.REASONING ABILITY: Level 2Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
