Position: Supply Chain Manager Location: Portland, OR On-site / Hybrid: On-site Job Summary: The Flex Force business is looking for a Supply Chain Manager that will be responsible for Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, and some facility coordination. This SCM professional will be the site hands on subject matter expert for all activities, product delivery and increasing customer service levels. This is a site critical multifunctional role needed to support Engineering and Operations for production scheduling, shipping, and receiving, and inventory to anticipate and fulfill customer specific requirements and demands with light facility management. Required Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, coordinates, and executes procurement activities for the company Develops and maintains procurement process documentation Advises on procurement plan development, source lists, and negotiations Driving force to minimize supply chain impacts to ensure availability of goods and services to meet committed business schedules Collaborates with all site disciplines to identify vulnerabilities Recommends solutions for cost savings, on time deliveries and overall quality Track, develop, report, and improve procurement KPIs Administers and coordinates closure of invoice discrepancies and negotiate adjustments with suppliers to resolve in timely manner On boards new vendors with NDA creation Site leader for physical inventory and inventory audits Runs projects to upgrade/update facilities Facility management including but not limited to graffiti cleanup and building physical security Local package pickup and deliveries with vendors and customers Facilitate Shipping and receiving Works with engineering on new part creation in ERP system and updating parts information between ERP and Engineering design program Monitors parts quantity levels and updates information in ERP system Required Skills and Abilities: Broad knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, supplier management and negotiation Demonstrated customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism Worked in MRP/ERP systems environments (knowledge of Navision a plus) Proficient with Microsoft Office products — Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Highly developed organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines under pressure and changing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team orientation Education and related experience: Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a relatable field is preferred 5+ years of buyer experience in manufacturing (Aerospace and Defense preferred) Travel Requirements:
