OverviewFWI is building a team to deliver STEM outreach support services for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Next-Gen Outreach Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As the Wizards of Wright! (WOW!) Project Manager, you will serve as the lead for one of AFRL's flagship K-12 engagement programs, bringing real STEM professionals into Miami Valley classrooms to deliver hands-on science demonstrations that inspire the next generation of innovators.FWI has been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Washington Post in 2024 and 2025, offering excellent growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.Position is contingent upon contract award**Work Schedule and Location:On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio.Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the WOW! project, ensuring alignment with Ohio Curriculum Standards and National STEM Standards Develop and update classroom presentations based on educator and mission needs Recruit, train, and maintain a database of WOW! volunteer presenters Coordinate, schedule, and follow up on classroom presentation requests Assemble, track, and maintain WOW! classroom materials and equipment (e.g., wind tunnels, thermal cameras) Provide two teacher in-service workshops annually during summer Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a science field Minimum 3 years of functional area experience Active Ohio Teacher License required FWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
