Director of Program Management
About the Job
As a Director of Program Management, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of strategic projects across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, customer success, and IT, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs. You will play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of projects from conception through completion, focusing on delivering quality solutions that meet timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
Job Duties to Include
Project Planning & Execution: Lead the definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals. Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, and partners, to ensure effective communication, requirement gathering, and expectation management.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with product, engineering, customer success, and other teams to ensure project dependencies are managed and deliverables align with the strategic objectives.
Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress, milestones, and any adjustments.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management methodologies, workflows, and best practices to increase efficiency and quality of outcomes.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA and other data privacy laws.
Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for client-facing programs, ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded, and fostering long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior project managers or program coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field.
5+ years of program/project management experience in a SaaS or healthcare environment.
Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly.
