You’ll play an essential role in supporting students’ physical development and access to education throughout the upcoming NSY 26-27 academic year.Key Qualifications:Valid South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) licenseMinimum of a master’s degree in Physical TherapyDemonstrated experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a school settingPrior work with pediatric populationsFamiliarity with the EDPlan SC IEP programStrong ability to manage and complete IEP paperwork and participate in meetingsResponsibilities:Provide direct therapy services one day per week on-site, addressing each student’s unique needs and supporting functional participation in their educational programsConduct thorough evaluations and timely reevaluations to monitor student progress and inform individualized care plansComplete all required documentation, including IEP paperwork, maintaining accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and school timelinesActively participate in IEP meetings by collaborating with educational teams and families to develop student-centered goalsMaintain a caseload for approximately 27 hours per month, ensuring services are delivered effectively and efficientlyThis position offers a focused schedule—perfect for professionals seeking flexibility while remaining engaged in meaningful, hands-on work.
