This role works closely with production, procurement, and customer-facing teams to help maintain accurate schedules, ensure material availability, and support on-time delivery. This is an entry-level role designed for someone developing foundational skills in production planning and supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Scheduling SupportAssist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on forecasts, customer orders, and capacity guidelinesDistribute production schedules and work orders to appropriate departmentsSupport updates to schedules due to design changes, material shortages, labor constraints, or other disruptionsReview production documents and material requirements to help prioritize workIssue shop orders and support coordination of delivery instructionsOrder & Customer CoordinationEnter and maintain customer forecasts and orders in the ERP systemIssue order acknowledgements and assist with delivery confirmationsCommunicate with internal teams to help ensure customer requirements are metEscalate scheduling conflicts, delays, or customer concerns to senior team membersMaterials & Logistics SupportCoordinate material delivery and movement to support production timelinesMonitor material availability and notify appropriate teams of potential shortagesMaintain MRP parameters for assigned parts under guidance from senior plannersAssist with inventory and material flow trackingMonitoring & ReportingTrack production progress and update planning dataPrepare routine status reports related to schedules and delivery commitmentsVerify data accuracy within planning and ERP systemsSupport KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiativesDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain production planning documentation and recordsFollow company quality procedures and planning standardsSupport 5S and workplace organization initiativesMinimum Qualifications1+ year(s) of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, or a related environment (internships or co-op experience acceptable)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing schedulesEffective written and verbal communication skillsBasic experience using ERP/MRP systems or willingness to learnProficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business softwarePreferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Intermediate Excel skillsExposure to manufacturing environments, particularly electronics or similar industriesPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsClimate-controlled office setting with occasional electronics manufacturing services production floor.Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 10lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Pre-Employment RequirementsAll offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
