Known for disciplined field execution and a safety-first culture, the company partners with leading developers and general contractors on complex builds requiring precision, coordination, and craftsmanship.With a growing project pipeline, the organization is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations and drive performance across active job sites.About the PositionTheConcrete Superintendentis responsible for overseeing and directing all field operations related to concrete construction from mobilization through project completion. This role provides hands-on leadership to field crews, coordinates resources and sequencing, and ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedule requirements.Projects may include structural concrete, flatwork, foundations, vertical elements, site concrete, tilt-up structures, and specialty placements.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & SchedulingPlan, organize, and supervise daily concreteconstruction activities across one or multiple job sitesCoordinate work sequencing including excavationinterfaces, forming, reinforcing, embeds, placements, finishing, curing,and strippingDevelop short-term work plans and manpower projectionsto meet production goalsCollaborate with Project Management to resolveconstructability challengesCoordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers,testing agencies, and other tradesField Leadership & Workforce ManagementLead, train, and mentor foremen and field crewsAssign tasks and monitor productivity and equipmentutilizationPromote a professional, accountable jobsite culturefocused on teamwork and qualityEquipment & Materials CoordinationEnsure tools, equipment, and materials are availableand properly maintainedCoordinate concrete deliveries, pump operations,placement equipment, and specialty vendorsMonitor material usage to minimize waste and controlcostsQuality ControlVerify work complies with drawings, specifications, andapplicable codesInspect forms, reinforcing, embeds, finishes, andcompleted workAddress deficiencies promptly and implement correctivemeasuresDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate daily reports including labor,equipment, production, and site conditionsTrack progress against schedule and communicate risksor delaysAssist with inspections, testing documentation, andcloseout activitiesSafety & ComplianceEnforce company safety policies and regulatoryrequirementsConduct daily safety briefings and ongoing site safetyobservationsIdentify and mitigate hazards related to placementoperations, crane activity, lifting, and equipment usePromote a culture where safety is a sharedresponsibilityRequirements5–10+ years of experience supervising concreteconstruction operationsStrong background in foundations, slabs, verticalconcrete, and site workExperience with large-scale tilt-up commercial orindustrial buildingsKnowledge of floor flatness (FF/FL) requirements andhow to achieve specified tolerancesExperience working around large cranes and heavyequipmentAbility to read and interpret construction drawings,specifications, and schedulesProven ability to manage crews, schedules, and multipleconcurrent work activitiesWorking knowledge of safety standards and bestpracticesFamiliarity with construction management and reportingsoftware (MS Project, Procore, or similar)Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plusAbility to perform in a fast-paced, dynamicconstruction environmentBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceOvertime eligibility (non-exempt role)Comprehensive health benefitsRetirement plan optionsCareer advancement opportunities within a growingorganizationSafety-focused and team-oriented work environment
