We are seeking a skilled professional to electrically and mechanically maintain our facility, ensuring smooth operations and safety.Work Schedule4 on 4 off (rotating), 5am - 5pm, & then 5pm - 5amReports ToCrew SupervisorDepartmentDirect MaintenanceJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain and promote a safe work environmentConduct all Preventive Maintenance program work, update PM computer system, and respond to equipment failures and troubleshooting.Participate in projects aimed at improving safety, quality, efficiency, and product offerings.Perform all facility maintenance, including equipment alignment, spares buildup, instrument calibration and repair, new equipment installations, electrical, pipefitting, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, welding, and mechanical repairs.Apply electrical, electronic, and software skills to solve problems.Demonstrate knowledge of electronic control systems and combustion furnace equipment.Work on all components of the Hot Dip Galvanizing line.Undertake any other duties deemed necessary throughout the plant.Required Skills/ExperiencePrevious experience with preventative maintenanceStrong communication and teamwork skillsWell organizedEffective troubleshooting skillsSelf-directed and motivatedGood leadership abilitiesCompetitive score on Maintenance aptitude testsMaintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulicsAbility to read prints and drawingsProficient in using hand tools, torches, grinders, micrometers, calipers, and spacer gagesStrong computer skillsDemonstrated use of multimeter/oscilloscope to measure AC and DC voltages, currents, and resistancesUnderstanding of 480V, 3 phase electrical systemsUnderstanding of principles of Lockout/Tagout/TryoutUnderstanding of Electrical Safety practices including deenergizing exposed energized conductors and understanding Arc Flash and Shock protection principlesUnderstanding of plant control systems including PLCs, HMIs, Drives, Actuators, and InstrumentationPreferred Skills/ExperienceGalvanizing KnowledgePredictive MaintenanceBenefitsPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
