If you enjoy analyzing coverage, partnering with defense counsel, and driving strategic claim resolutions, this is an opportunity to take your expertise to the next level.As a Complex Liability Adjuster, you'll manage sophisticated Commercial General Liability (CGL) and Business Owners Policy (BOP) claims, including matters in active litigation. You'll be trusted to make sound decisions, influence outcomes, and serve as a key contributor within a collaborative claims team.What You'll DoOwn the end to end handling of complex CGL and BOP claims, from initial investigation through resolutionManage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholdersAnalyze policy language, assess liability and damages, and develop strategic resolution plansNegotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys while balancing risk, exposure, and costMaintain thorough, accurate claim documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standardsCommunicate confidently and professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal teamsQualificationsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience handling commercial liability claims, including litigated CGL and BOP filesStrong coverage analysis and decision making skills in complex, fast paced environmentsJD preferred, or a bachelor's degree with demonstrated success adjusting litigated liability claimsActive TX All Lines License, or willingness to obtain oneExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detailHighly organized, tech savvy, and able to manage competing priorities effectivelyThis role may be based out of any of our office locations, including:New York, NY; Parsippany, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Conshohocken, PA; Wilkes Barre, PA; Alpharetta, GA; Rosemont, IL; Plano, TX; Scottsdale, AZ; and Rancho Cordova, CA.The salary ranges below reflect broad pay bands based on cost of labor groupings. Actual base pay will vary depending on factors such as experience, education, skills, performance, job responsibilities, and work location.High Cost Markets(e.g., New York City, Northern New Jersey, parts of California, Chicago)Estimated Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000Standard Cost Markets(e.g., Pennsylvania, Texas, Georgia, Arizona, Illinois, remaining markets)Estimated Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000
