TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Bismarck, North Dakota, 58501!About The Position### Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) ### Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) ### Job Duration: 13 weeks ### Shift: Day - 5x8 - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM ### Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week ### Experience: Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience ### License: Required to submit ### Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) ### Must-Have: - Willingness to cross-train into the general operating room if CV volumes are low - Experience with open heart procedures, CABG, and valve surgeries ### Job Description: - Work in a unit with 2 CVOR suites - Handle common cases such as open hearts (CABG, valves, aneurysms), thoracotomies, VATS, convergent procedures, AAA, carotids, robotic cases, ECMO, and Impella 5.5 - Cross-training in other specialties required if CV volumes are low; may assist on the floor as "helping hands" or a 1:1 sitter without taking patients - No scrubbing required for RNs - Charge Nurse available on each shift from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekdays and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekends; manager available until 4:00 PM on weekdays - Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system - Self-scheduling for call shifts; call is required 1-2 times per week and every 3-4 weekends with call response time within 15 minutes - Must be willing to work rotating holidays - Receive 8-hour reprieve shifts for post-call; a sleep room is available for convenience - Hospital provides scrub attire - Attend 3-4 days of hospital clinical orientation, an EPIC class, unit-specific orientation/modules, and 4-5 days of unit-based orientation with 2 buddy call shifts - Flexible orientation based on recent heart surgery experience Note: Candidates must not hold any full-time, part-time, or PRN positions within associated health facilities.26111588EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for OnboardingACLS - AHABLS - AHAPharmacologySkills ChecklistSpecialty ExamAbout Cynet HealthYour travel nursing adventure begins here.
