Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. In this position, you are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.As a Maintenance Associate, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, determine the problem, and implement the repair. This position requires an understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems. Qualified candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints proficiently and make necessary modifications.This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days; then 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off.Additional ResponsibilitiesPlan, layout, and perform all required operations to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of plant equipment and accessoriesEffectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and eliminate problems as they ariseSafely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems, and AC/DC circuits, possess an understanding of basic relay logicUnderstand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repair power units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, pumpsPerform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operationsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and proceduresMaintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionFollow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rulesMaintain lift truck operator's license, main lift, and other material handling equipmentProven to Perform.From the edges of space to the bottoms of ocean, our materials are proven to perform -- and so is our team.
