Estimator

EstimatorCedar Park Group is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in asphalt and hardscape/landscape work. This contract role is primarily office-based, with occasional field visits as needed, and limited remote work options with owner permission. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable producing accurate estimates while coordinating with internal teams and field operations. Schedule/Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:30 PM Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for asphalt and hardscape/landscape projects Review plans, specifications, site conditions, and scope requirements Perform takeoffs and quantify labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work Support bid preparation, pricing strategies, and proposal submissions Coordinate with field teams and vendors to confirm pricing and logistics Conduct occasional site visits to validate measurements and conditions (as needed) Maintain organized estimate files and documentation Required Qualifications 5+ years of estimating experience Proven experience in asphalt and hardscape/landscape estimating Strong ability to read plans and interpret project scope Solid math skills and attention to detail Proficiency with estimating tools/spreadsheets and documentation practices Reliable transportation for occasional field visits Strong communication and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10(preferred, not required) Benefits PTO Vacation pay Bonus pay Health insurance 401k Why Join Us Join Cedar Park Group and experience a company that genuinely values your growth and success.
