Under the direction of the Chief of Technology, the IT Tech is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to technology systems. This position more specifically works on install of new technology for our properties. This includes but not limited to security systems, smart homes and some network/infrastructure installation. Exciting growth with in a company that wants you to succeed*** Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical, hardware, networking, and cabling issues. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and cabling. Ensuring electrical safety standards are met. Identify and resolve issues with Smart Home devices and units. Manage and install door access units. Install and troubleshoot camera, audio, and video equipment. Train clients and users on basic usage of Entrata, camera systems, phones, door access systems and smart technology. Travel extensively to each property to oversee project implementation and troubleshoot technology issues. Assist with installation and configuration of IT infrastructure in new developments. Additional duties as assigned.
