This role combines customer service, sales, and retail operations to support members and guests in selecting products that enhance their fitness and everyday performance.Retail Associates serve as brand ambassadors within the club, engaging with members, providing personalized product recommendations, and driving retail sales. Retail Associates are expected to be professional, energetic, and passionate about fitness, wellness, and delivering exceptional service.Greet members and guests in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.Provide personalized product recommendations based on member needs and lifestyle.Drive retail sales by promoting products, promotions, and wellness offerings.Process transactions accurately using the POS system.Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays.Restock inventory and monitor product levels on the sales floor.Stay knowledgeable about products, features, and current promotions.Build relationships with members to encourage repeat business and loyalty.Support overall club operations and collaborate with front desk and fitness teams when needed.Deliver a luxury-level customer experience consistent with the Equinox brand.To successfully perform in this role, the individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:• The ability to take direction• Experience in a customer service business; preferably in retail• Hardworking and diligent, possessing both honesty and personal integrity• Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and communication skills• Ability to utilize new techniques and ideas• Be available to work a varied schedule, based on the needs of our unique retail businessPrevious experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to provide high-level customer service in a luxury environment.Comfort engaging with customers and making product recommendations.Basic sales experience or willingness to meet sales goals.Ability to operate a POS (point-of-sale) system and handle transactions accurately.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain store presentation standards.Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks (stocking, organizing merchandise).Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Professional appearance and alignment with Equinox brand standards.Passion for fitness, wellness, and lifestyle retail is a plus.** Essential Physical Requirements** :Standing, sitting, and walkingSquatting, bending, and reaching USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
