Job Description Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to support a reputable outpatient oncology infusion center. This contract position is based in Canton, GA, and requires a minimum of two years of oncology or infusion experience. Candidates must be licensed in Georgia and able to perform chemotherapy preparation and administration support, including IV starts and implanted port access.Location: Canton, GAContract Duration: 13 weeks, starting April 27Schedule:Monday through Friday8:00 AM 4:30 PMKey Responsibilities:Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments within an infusion center settingPerform IV starts and access implanted ports for patientsEnsure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in handling chemotherapy agentsSupport clinical staff in managing infusion therapies, excluding blood transfusionsQualifications:Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settingsCertified IV Pharmacy Technician with current GA pharmacy technician licenseDemonstrated proficiency with chemotherapy preparation and outpatient oncology infusion protocolsAdditional Requirements:Candidates must reside beyond 50 miles from the worksite to be consideredThis role offers a chance to contribute directly to patient care in a specialized outpatient oncology environment.
