What success looks like in this role:Relocation Required - Please Read FirstThis role is basedonsite in Childress, TX .We arespecifically seeking experienced data center engineers who are open to relocationfor a long-term opportunity supporting anew, large-scale AI data center build for Dell .Relocation assistance provided Senior-level experience strongly preferred Local candidates welcome, but this role isrelocation-firstAbout the Role Unisys is seeking an experiencedOn-Site Service Engineer (OSE)to support enterprise data center and server environments, including next-generation AI platforms. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on maintaining uptime, resolving complex hardware issues, and helping establish operational standards at anewly built data center site .Important:Senior engineers are required first to support site stand-up, stability, and mentorship. Engineers hired in this phase will play afoundational rolein long-term operations.Prior AI experience is not required-strong data center and server fundamentals are what matter most.What You'll Do Provide onsite support for Dell server and data center systems, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimal downtime Perform hardware maintenance including server builds, swaps, component replacements, and firmware updates Troubleshoot issues across hardware, firmware, and operating systems Support reactive and preventive maintenance following established procedures Partner with customers and internal teams during service events Document work performed and contribute to shared knowledge Participate in on-call rotations and extended coverage as requiredWhat You Bring Experience supporting servers or data center hardware in enterprise or customer-facing environments Hands-on expertise with server components (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs, full server swaps) Ability to work independently onsite in a production data center Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills Willingness to support emerging technologies, including AI platforms Openness to relocation to Childress, TX (required)You will be successful in this role if you have: Qualifications 3+ yearsof experience in data center, field service, or enterprise hardware support roles New build, expansion, or site stand-up experience strongly preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience Dell or other OEM certifications a plus (not required)***Due to potential government contract requirements, this position is limited to US Citizens or US Permanent Resident#LI-AC1This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
