Join us in our Purpose and apply for an opportunity today!Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that production standards are met by efficiently running the machines and equipmentSet up, operate, maintain equipment and tear down as instructedRun product at line speed as scheduled by Production SupervisorMaintain ongoing communication with Production Supervision, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance as it relates to equipment performance and down timeFollow safety procedures and checklist for startup, emergency stop, and restart of the lines after down timeFollows all work safety policies and guidelines, such as Lock Out - Tag OutObserves equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and /or safety issues/concernsAdheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelinesMaintains a clean and organized areaCross train on other equipment/areas as neededMaintain equipment records through paper logs or on assigned electronic device accurately and timelyOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)High school diploma, GED, or equivalentMust be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physicalMust be able to use basic math and typing skillsAbility to pass Lock Out - Tag Out trainingEssential Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to learn and to perform work on all equipment within assigned departmentAble to work in a fast-paced environmentWorks independently and self-motivated in performing job tasksCommunicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructionsPreferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment* Knowledge of machines and equipmentWorking ConditionsWork is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.Position requires working around processing plant equipment.Must be physically capable of working extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed and in varying elements that could include damp, cold, wet, hot or warm environment, standing for long periods of time.This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.DisclaimerWe embrace equal opportunities for employment.
