Position SummaryThe Manager of Marketing, Social Media & Events is responsible for driving brand visibility, revenue support, and guest engagement through integrated marketing initiatives, digital content, social media strategy, and on-property events. This role plays a critical part in positioning the hotel within the local market, strengthening community partnerships, supporting transient and group demand, and delivering memorable brand experiences that align with hotel standards.The ideal candidate is creative, organized, guest-focused, and results-driven, with a strong understanding of hospitality marketing, storytelling, and experiential programming.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand ManagementDevelop and execute property-level marketing initiatives that align with brand standards, ownership goals, and market conditionsSupport hotel revenue strategies through targeted promotions, packages, and seasonal campaignsEnsure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms and guest touchpointsCollaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, and Operations to support business objectivesSocial Media & Digital ContentManage and execute the hotel's social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including photos, videos, stories, reels, and promotional copyMonitor social engagement, respond to guest interactions, and manage online reputation in partnership with leadershipTrack performance metrics and provide regular reporting on reach, engagement, and campaign effectivenessStay current on digital trends and recommend innovative ways to enhance visibility and engagementEvents & Experiential MarketingPlan, promote, and execute on-property events including community activations, brand partnerships, seasonal programming, and F&B-driven experiencesServe as the primary marketing liaison for hotel events, ensuring proper promotion, branding, and guest experience executionCoordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless event deliverySupport group and catering teams with marketing assets and promotional support for key eventsPartnerships & Community EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism partners, influencers, and community organizationsIdentify partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility and drive incremental revenueRepresent the hotel at select community and networking events as neededAdministrative & ReportingManage marketing calendars, content schedules, and promotional timelinesAssist with budget tracking related to marketing initiatives and eventsMaintain organized records of campaigns, assets, and vendor relationshipsPrepare periodic performance summaries and recaps for leadershipQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferredMinimum 2'4 years of experience in hotel marketing, social media management, or events (hospitality experience strongly preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExperience with social media platforms, content creation tools, and basic analyticsEvening and weekend availability required for events and activationsKey CompetenciesCreative and strategic thinkerHighly organized with strong attention to detailGuest-centric mindsetCollaborative and relationship-drivenProfessional, polished, and brand-consciousComfortable working cross-functionally with hotel leadership and frontline teamsPhysical & Work EnvironmentAbility to move throughout the hotel, attend events, and work on-siteExtended hours may be required during events, promotions, or peak periodsWorking Conditions / EnvironmentThe following outlines the work environment employees will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
