ACOUSTICAL ENGINEEREnvironmental Noise ControlAre you an experienced Acoustical Engineer with a strong background in construction noise control and monitoring?We are looking for a skilled Acoustical Engineer to oversee noise control requirements on a major construction project and play a key role in ensuring effective noise monitoring, assessment and mitigation.🔹 Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement construction noise control and monitoring plans• Conduct and oversee construction noise analysis and level calculations• Design and oversee noise monitoring and abatement measures• Monitor construction noise levels and ensure compliance with project requirements• Oversee noise measurement activities and monitoring equipment• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to noise control• Work closely with project and construction teams to address noise-related requirements🔹 Requirements• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics or Architecture from an accredited institution• 5+ years of experience in noise control engineering and construction noise analysis• Strong experience with construction noise controls and monitoring plans, particularly on urban construction projects• Experience calculating construction noise levels and implementing noise abatement measures• Alternatively, current enrollment as a Board Certified Member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE)Technical ExperienceExperience with precision/general-purpose sound level meters and construction noise monitoring is highly desirable. The role involves monitoring metrics including dBA, Lmax and L10 and ensuring appropriate calibration and testing of monitoring equipment.
