In a business that has seen numerous competitors come and go, leaving customers without support, Parks has been a constant throughout and remains the industry leader today.OverviewReports to: Production ManagerSummaryDuties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to: Organize, direct, and oversee correct and timely completion of production functions. Organize, schedule, and prioritize production functions. Oversee and ensure that processes are being completed according to Company standards and specifications. Maintain and drive improvement in Yield, Efficiency and Scrap Complete related paperwork, reports, and support functions, including monitoring requisitions as appropriate. Maintain the production schedule provided and inform management of any significant problems or concerns. Update production records as assigned. Ensure production functions are conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures, deadlines are met, and work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained. Ensure established production procedures and instructions are followed, and quality and safety standards are met. Review and update production policies and procedures regularly. Assist, direct, and support production personnel, management, and other company personnel as needed by establishing and maintaining good communication. Assist the Production Manager in evaluating the progress and performance of employees and provide suggestions for improved performance. Perform production duties as needed. Inline inspection/QC of WIP. Keep the operations manager informed of area activities and of any significant concerns. Identify problems and provide suggestions. Complete special projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions. Ability to perform basic math such as arithmetic and unit conversions Ability/familiarity with soldering and of circuit board components Attentive to detail with a quality focused mindset. Strong supervisory abilities. Solid decisionmaking skills. Cooperative and willing to assist others. Ability to absorb, retain, recall and make good decisions regarding information Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams. Contributes to a positive work culture that promotes a collaborative work environment Must be comfortable with a fast paced, rapid change environment and be able to multitask across projects with excellent organizational skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Stooping: Bending downward and forward at the waist.
