Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in the Mid-Hudson Valley Region of NY.In this role, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, with occasional hands-on support, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This is a 2nd shift position - 11am-7pm or end of productionResponsibilities include:Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure production targets are met.Provides hands-on assistance on the production floor as needed, including supporting team members during staffing shortages, training periods, or peak production demands, while maintaining supervisory responsibility.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment.Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product standards are maintained.Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance and supply chain, to optimize operations.Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation.Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or in a similar role.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools.High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing or related field is a plus.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.You should be proficient in:Leadership / People ManagementFood and Beverage ManufacturingManufacturing Instruction (MI)Workplace Safety & EHS ManagementScheduling ExperienceMachines & technologies you'll use:Material Handling SystemsPackaging MachinesPalletizerJoin our team!
