Branch Skilled- Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionPosition Title: Maintenance Technician Wage: $23.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:45am-3:15pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Franklin, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign materials Dismantle machines or equipment using hand and power tools to inspect for defects and replace faulty components as needed Fit and assemble parts to manufacture or repair machine tools and equipment Install repaired parts into equipment or assist with the installation of new machinery Maintain industrial machinery by applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical machinery Execute corrective maintenance on electrical and plumbing installations Operate equipment to verify proper operation and efficiency Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions Monitor and manage maintenance inventory and spare parts Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment Assist the Process Engineer with layout changes and improvements Assist the Manufacturing Engineer with retrofits and machinery installations Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and protocols Perform other related duties as assigned Maintenance Technician Requirements:English (required); Spanish (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Technical diploma preferred Forklift driver's license preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar industrial maintenance role Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, basic computer usage (preferred) Strong communication skills, especially under pressure Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Adaptability to changing priorities and work demands Physical stamina and manual dexterity Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with production supervisors Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines south@qpsemployment.com IND010 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
