Join our team and you'll be able to develop your skills, grow your career, build relationships with your peers and patients, and help us be a source of hope for our friends and neighbors.UC Health is committed to providing an inclusive, equitable and diverse place of employment.This position is responsible for the daily supervision of assigned staff and area to ensure accurate ordering and inventory of medical supplies and materials.ResponsibilitiesWorkforce Management:Directs, coordinates and audits the activities of the assigned materials and supply staff.Hires, trains and prepares work schedules necessary to meet department requirements.Material Distribution:Oversees the procurement, processing, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment essential to nursing care, diagnostic procedures, and other patient care areas for assigned shift.Accounts Payable:Responsible for inventory management and ensuring the proper record keeping for supplies and material utilization.Workforce Planning:Develops and implements long and short-range plans for the assigned shift and department in order to provide quality, efficient and service to departments in the most cost effective manner possible.Compliance:Ensures that operations and staff on assigned shift meet the required JCAHO and other regulatory agency requirements.QualificationsMinimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree in Business Related coursework. | Minimum Required: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience.
