Quality Control Engineer

We offer a flexible work schedule and competitive benefits package. *Job Summary* Select Engineering Services (SES) is seeking to hire a Quality Control Engineer to implement company and regulatory quality standards for product manufacturing. Perform audits and review quality data according to existing procedures in quality inspection associated with manufacturing/production. In addition, the candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail. This position is focused on low-volume production for critical military applications such that every single delivered product must meet all functional requirements. · Support development of detailed technical inspection/test work instructions, checklists, engineering drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) · Interface with Design, Manufacturing & Test Engineering to improve design and procedures · Interface with subcontractors and customers to resolve quality problems and to create/review deliverables · Perform manufacturing inspections to ensure quality · Support implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) elements and auditing processes · Manage equipment calibration program · Support coordination, processing, and dispositioning of nonconforming products and anomalies · Perform first article inspections and assist with new supplier qualification process *Required Qualifications* * 5-7 years of Quality Assurance experience in a development/production environment, aerospace and defense, and/or comparable industry * Experience using statistical analysis techniques to solve complex problems * Proven quality expertise and passion for developing a strong quality culture * Knowledge, training, and experience in Quality system Standards (AS9100) and audits * Outgoing/expressive individual with excellent communication/team building skills * Demonstrated ability to engage employees and encourage positive behaviors * Solid knowledge of quality principles, program requirements, best practices, regulations, and codes * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible schedule * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Layton, UT 84041: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Quality assurance: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
