Material Program Manager

STS Technical Services is hiring a Material Program Manager in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is on-site and supports material services, supply chain activity, AOG support, stock audits, core return analysis, invoice disputes, retrofit campaigns and customer-facing logistics operations.This role is ideal for an experienced material support and supply chain professional with strong aviation parts knowledge, customer account management experience and the ability to support high-pressure material service needs in a fast-moving aviation environment.Position SummaryThe Material Program Manager coordinates all Material Programs Management activities, including AOG support, on-site stock audits and reconciliations, core return analysis, invoice disputes, retrofit and sales campaigns and other material and logistics topics that enhance direct customer support.This position works closely with customers, service centers, suppliers, internal teams and global business units to improve material availability, strengthen customer relationships and support aircraft availability.Job ResponsibilitiesManage customer requests related to Material Services and Supply Chain activitiesSupport inquiries related to material support processes, AOG escalation, repair management, Supply Chain policies, parts warranty and core managementTake part in and present updates on Material Support and Logistics processes and projects at the Embraer Executive Operators ConferenceEnsure compliance with scheduled visits and training for customers and service centersReview Executive Supply Chain processes with customers and service centers to improve customer-company relationshipsCoordinate global parts distribution for retrofit campaigns to maximize aircraft availabilityTrack parts and coordinate with service centers and customers on retrofit campaign schedulingManage on-site stock inventory counts, audits and replenishment metricsDevelop and monitor key performance indicators for retrofit campaign implementationInterface with corporate planning and Customer Support Program teams to review retrofit plansHelp forecast parameters for seed units in retrofit campaignsPrepare and deliver presentations to operators regarding full material performanceInclude root cause analysis and ongoing action plans in customer-facing presentationsMaintain global interface with company units, customers, operators, suppliers, contracted maintenance shops, technical representatives, engineers, technical assistants, customer account managers and other support entitiesPartner with New Business Development on future Material Support Services opportunitiesAttend and facilitate Supply Chain meetings as requiredReport status updates and issues from Supply Chain meetingsEstablish corrective action and recovery plans for compromised material services processesIdentify opportunities to enhance customer serviceManage Material Customer Support analytics and open ticketsContinually seek opportunities to improve process flow and work efficiencyEnsure customer inquiries are processed to meet customer expectations and company financial targetsProvide professional and expeditious assistance in high-pressure situationsPerform other tasks as requestedEducationCollege degree requiredB.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related fieldFamiliarization with aircraft parts requiredFamiliarization with Embraer Supply Chain and Order Management processes requiredMaster’s degree is a plusExperienceFive or more years of experience in Material Support and Services activitiesExperience with order taking, core return, retrofit, repair management and supply chainUnderstanding of pool programs and contract managementCustomer account management experience supporting large aviation fleetsKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesProficient in SAP material and logistics movementsSalesforce database skills, including case analysis and reportingUnderstanding and comprehension of AOG and Order Desk operationsExcellent presentation skills, including presentations to C-suite level audiencesSupply chain process expertiseContact and business development experienceKnowledge of aircraft partsDemonstrated negotiation and customer service techniquesRepair management and planning skillsGood oral and written communication skillsOrganized and detail-orientedStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-taskUnderstanding of value-based management fundamentals, including shareholder satisfaction, customer satisfaction and employee satisfactionUnderstanding of employment law,
