Jacksonville, FL OR Orlando, FL – local candidates onlyFunctionSupports engineering teams under general supervisionPerforms technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practicesUses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverablesBegins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering techniciansKey ResponsibilitiesStay current on applicable standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, and policies and proceduresApply knowledge of the client Quality Program to ensure accurate, compliant deliverablesDemonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiativesUse and expand applications and tools to evaluate and improve methods, processes, and proceduresCreate and develop project deliverables based on a variety of design inputsPerform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checksCoordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferencesSupport internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities and driversProactively seek out, share, and apply knowledge of new technologies and evolving processesRequirementsDiploma or Certificate required. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.Minimum of 2 years related work experience.Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStationBasic Civil 3D experience with knowledge of alignments, pipe networks, plan/profile, and sections.Basic Civil 3D experience with proposed grading and surfaces.OfferDovre Group is an equal opportunity employer.
