Our CEO Pietro Schirano previously designed products at Anthropic, Brex, Uber, and Facebook, and created DesignerGPT (#1 GPT on OpenAI's store) and Claude Engineer (11K+ GitHub stars).The RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer at MagicPath, you'll build core product systems — including the AI generation pipeline, real-time canvas, code export engine, and agent orchestration layer — alongside a founding team that ships daily.What You'll DoArchitect systems powering AI-driven design generation — from prompt engineering to multi-model orchestration and real-time canvas renderingBuild our agent infrastructure, enabling agents to reason about layout, accessibility, design systems, and code qualityOwn product surfaces end-to-end, from database to APIs to the UIPush the limits of LLM-powered creative workflows, experimenting with new model capabilities and interaction patternsWork directly with the CEO and CTO to shape product directionShip fast and iterate quickly — we deploy multiple times per dayWhat We're Looking For5+ years of software engineering experience building complex systemsHands-on experience with LLMs and AI agents (prompting, context management, tool use, multi-step reasoning)Genuine passion for AI — you follow the research and build projects on the sideStrong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and modern web infrastructureExperience with real-time collaborative systems, canvas editors, or creative tools is a plusComfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environmentsHigh bar for craft and product qualityBonus PointsContributions to open-source AI tools or frameworksExperience with design tools, canvas rendering, SVG/WebGLBackground in code generation, compilers, or AST toolingBuilt AI agents, MCP servers, or developer toolsPrevious early-stage startup experienceWhy MagicPathReal problem.
