Position OverviewWe are seeking a Small Business Account Manager to support and manage a diverse book of commercial lines clients with premiums under $30K. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships. You will take ownership of accounts once new business is bound, ensuring smooth servicing, accurate coverage, and ongoing client satisfaction. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a book of small business commercial accounts across various industries (construction, LROs, restaurants, health services, etc.) Process new and renewal policies, ensuring accuracy and appropriate coverage Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and certificates/evidence of insurance Respond to client inquiries including billing, coverage questions, and policy changes Support account rounding by advising clients on additional coverage options Collaborate with Sales Executives by providing documentation and account insights Submit renewals to incumbent carriers and assist in maintaining retention QualificationsRequired: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License (or willingness to obtain) 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
