Teacher, Math, Middle School (EX)(2026-2027) - The School of the Incarnation, Gambrills MD

School of the Incarnation is seeking qualified candidates for a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. This teacher is expected to foster a faith-filled Catholic learning environment that recognizes the dignity of each person while demonstrating the skill and expertise to align, plan, and implement instruction according to the Archdiocesan curriculum. Essential FunctionsDevelop and document weekly lesson plans consistent with curriculum guidelines.Provide a grade-appropriate instructional program.Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church.Be responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times, as well as for classroom management using PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) protocols.Implement lesson plans, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students.Establish reasonable standards for student achievement and update the electronic gradebook frequently.Interact effectively with parents and respond to all communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.Participate in faculty meetings, retreats, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities.Actively supervise students at all times, including during assigned duties such as arrival/dismissal, car line, recess, cafeteria duty, etc.Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration.Position QualificationsBachelor's degree in Education.Current MSDE certification.Minimum of three years of teaching experience preferred.Experience in a Catholic school setting preferred.Must be comfortable with technology, including G Suite, Google Classroom, Smart Boards, etc.Must have a commitment to Catholic school education.*To be considered for a teaching opportunity and to assist with determining compensation, the following documentation is required to be uploaded with your application: Resume, application certifications, licensures (PEL), transcripts, and reference contact information.
